DATA SCIENCE & VENTURE: Is an economic downturn a good time to start a startup?
We actually started this project a month before COVID-19 took place. We were amazed that there were some incredibly successful companies that started during a recession and we wondered if there was a relationship between the success of a company and if they started during a downturn. We used Crunchbase data, Government Employment data and backed up assumptions we secondary research. Check out the project to see how suggestions on if you should start a startup.

DATA SCIENCE & MARKETING ANALYTICS: IDEA’s Brand Reach and Throughput
We were trying to identify the most likely to engage with IDEA college students. Northeastern has seven interdisciplinary colleges and is a very entrepreneurial school. We conducted a brand reach study based attributes such as overall engagement on campus, field of study, interest in entrepreneurship and year of graduation. We identified 6 cluster groups that we then used to do targeted recruiting, campaigns, and outreach
VENTURE: Valery - Experiential Marketing Platform
Researched the impact of experiential marketing campaigns for business. We realized the that customers love marketing campaigns that are experiential and it provides better outcomes from the campaign in both reach and financial gains. We provided insight, consulting for mid-sized business to run an experiential campaign and developed a methodology to measure ROI
